Sher-Ali is the Chief Executive; his main interest is in developing a childcare provision which provides the highest quality of foster and residential care to children and young people.
His background has been as a Medical Doctor with a particular interest in Psychology, Orthopaedics and Emergency Admissions; these provided direct experience of dealing with the acute side of children referred with suspected abuse. Following this his interest in provisions for looked after children led to the establishment of a number of residential homes for children in 2000 and our fostering arm, Lorimer Foster Services, in 2004.
He is currently undertaking his Masters in Business at Manchester University and is continually looking to apply and implement up to date methods of effective structure and management within Social Work agencies.
