About Us
Lorimer Foster Services (LFS) is part of The Lorimer Group. This is an independent agency established in 1992 as a provider of residential care for ‘looked after children’.
Our fostering agency (LFS) was first registered in July 2004 to provide placements with approved foster carers for children and young people from five to eighteen years. The range of placements includes short-term, long-term, bridging, remand, emergency and respite placements.
The Lorimer Group is based in Sale, Greater Manchester and covers the north west of England.
We aim to recruit foster carers who share our passion for making a difference in the lives of vulnerable young people, by working in partnership with families, local authorities and other statutory agencies to provide best practice, best value and most importantly best outcomes for children.
